time after your course on the Central Coast of California. If you stay a few days after your course, you'll have an opportunity to
photograph in the locations we'll show you and tell you about, and use the new techniques you've learned. |

LIGHT Photographic Workshops is located in Los
Osos on the beautiful Central Coast of California, approximately halfway
between Los Angeles and San Francisco. We are just thirteen miles up the
road from San Luis Obispo, which has an airport (San Luis Obispo County
Airport, KSBP) served by America
West, American Eagle
and Skywest (United
Express). Connecting flights arrive into San Luis Obispo from San
Francisco (KSFO), Los Angeles (KLAX), and Phoenix (KPHX). Train service by
Amtrak and bus service
by Greyhound are
also available into San Luis Obispo.

The Sea Pines Golf Resort offers a special "LIGHT Workshops" rate of

We also have two other nice accomodations that we reccomend for those who are looking for something more like a Bed and Breakfast. Right around the corner from us is The Back Bay Inn which is approximatley a 5-10 minute drive from the school in a little town called Baywood. We also highly reccomend the Cass House Inn. The Cass House gives our students a discount anytime except holidays. Please visit their website as well and give them a call for details on their offer for you! The Cass house is located north of Los Osos in Cayucos which is approximately a 15 minute drive from the school.
If you are looking for something for an intimate getaway or a private studio to stay check out this local little cottage that is about a 5 minute drive from the school! It is owned and operated by a long time friend of George Lepp.
If you live outside San Luis Obispo County, you don't have to miss out on your workouts while you are here. Los Osos Fitness offers visitor passes that will give you full access to their complete facility, including classes. Depending on the length of your stay, you have three choices:
- One-week pass for $35
- 10-day punch pass (good for any 10 days within one year) for $95
- One-month pass for $75
