You should have a basic understanding of your camera and downloading of your images onto a computer and opening/importing them in Adobe Lightroom. |
Flower photography is justifiably popular. But along with that popularity comes a lot of photos that look the same. Explore all kinds of approaches to flower photography with photographer and naturalist Rob Sheppard. In this class, you will gain the knowledge you need to get better and more inspired flower photographs, plus you will learn a bit about the native plant communities of California and their flowers. The class will delve into everything from using flowers in a landscape to flower portraits to close-up and macro. Each day will include detailed information on photo techniques plus field trips to flower locations where you can put them into practice. You will then spend some time looking at your photos in the computer lab with a critique by Rob who is also Outdoor Photographer's editor-at-large.
